Problem? Emergency departments experienced long wait times and inefficiencies, reducing patient satisfaction and straining hospital resources.

Steps taken: Developed a Power BI dashboard using historical ER data, modeled with a star schema; implemented DAX-based KPIs (e.g., Avg Wait Time, Satisfaction Score), enabled drill-downs and predictive volume trends (24/48/72 hrs), and applied row-level security for department-level insights.

Result! Achieved a 25% reduction in average wait times, identified peak bottlenecks by department, and improved satisfaction tracking with real-time metrics—empowering staff to make faster, data-informed operational decisions.

Medical Device Maintenance Predictor

Problem? Predict which medical devices require maintenance within the next 30 days to minimize downtime and ensure operational efficiency.

Steps taken: Simulated relevant device datasets, performed preprocessing and feature engineering, trained a Random Forest Classifier, and built an interactive Streamlit app with visualizations and filtering.

Result! Achieved accurate predictions with detailed performance metrics (accuracy, precision, recall, F1 score), enabling proactive maintenance through an interactive dashboard.

Problem?
The company lacked a unified view of property sales performance, making it hard to track revenue, client value, and market trends across regions.

Steps Taken:
- Cleaned and modeled multi-source sales data in Power BI
- Built DAX measures for revenue, income, and pending status
- Designed an interactive dashboard with filters by year, channel, and property type
- Visualized key metrics, trends, and client segmentation

Result!
- Delivered a dashboard enabling real-time insight across 10+ countries and 4 sales channels
- Identified $15.8M in pending revenue (62% of total), improving cash flow visibility

Crypto traders lacked reliable price predictions, relying on outdated models that underperformed in volatile markets, missing profitable opportunities. 

Solution!

I developed a deep learning model using RNN architectures and TensorFlow, incorporating attention mechanisms to forecast prices with greater precision. 

Result:

Outperformed baseline models by 17% in predictive accuracy, earned 100+ citations in research, and reduced forecasting errors by 15%.

Problem?

BMW struggled to gain a clear, interactive view of $1 billion+ in sales data across 25+ countries from 2019–2024, making it hard to identify trends, top models, and regional performance. 

Solution!

I crafted a Power BI dashboard with DAX queries, interactive charts, and 3D car visuals, enabling stakeholders to explore sales trends, top-performing/expensive models, and regional dynamics with filters and slicers. 

Result:

Analyzed over $1B in sales, improved data accessibility by 90% (user feedback), and reduced reporting time by 50% with real-time insights.

Portfolio Optimization for Maximum Returns

Problem?

Investors face challenges in constructing portfolios that balance risk and return, leading to inefficient allocations, excessive volatility, and missed profit opportunities.

Solution!

I developed a portfolio optimization system leveraging 10,000 Monte Carlo simulations and Modern Portfolio Theory to analyze 10 major stocks. The system fetches real-time stock data, constructs the efficient frontier, and optimizes the Sharpe Ratio while factoring in transaction costs and constraints—providing data-driven portfolio recommendations.

Result:

Sharpe Ratio improved to ~1.25, reducing portfolio volatility by 18% while maximizing returns. The system streamlined portfolio construction, delivered an optimized asset allocation strategy, and generated automated performance reports with efficient frontier insights, empowering smarter investment decisions.

Advanced Self-Driving Car - Data Science/ ML

Problem: Build a deep learning model to predict steering angles from road images and control a virtual car in real time.

Steps Taken:
-Collected 17K+ custom driving images in the Udacity simulator
-Preprocessed data (cropping, resizing, color space conversion, normalization) and augmented with flips, brightness, and translations
-Designed and trained a CNN (NVIDIA-inspired) using TensorFlow/Keras
-Deployed real-time inference using Flask and SocketIO

Result:
Successfully deployed a model that autonomously drove a virtual car across multiple maps with smooth, accurate steering predictions in real-time.
